Clay club is an after school program that will meet on Wednesdays this Fall from September 9th until October 14th. It is recommended for kids aged 7-12.

Clay club exists to give kids the opportunity to learn about different ceramic hand building techniques. We explore a mix of traditional pottery projects (pinch, coil, and slab building) as well as creative sculptures. Over the 6 times we get together, we typically have 4 days dedicated entirely to clay, a day that is split 45 mins on clay and 45 mins on glaze, and our final 90 minute class will be exclusively glazing. Clubbers should expect to make 4-5 projects in this time. Ceramic projects will be fired after October 14th and will need to be picked up at your convenience.

We use both low and mid fire glazes at Clay Club.
